Heavenly Assignments

I had a dream. I walked around in my regular clothes, doing my daily things. I had been doing these things for a very long time. I felt comfortable with them. My life was fine. I lived my life with God.

Suddenly Jesus appeared very clearly. He came to me and said, “I have an assignment for you. You have two minutes to get changed.” Within two minutes I had changed my clothes and I also knew what kind of clothes I had to wear: beautiful clothes that were worthy of the assignment I would receive from the Most High King and at the same time practical: I had to be able to move well and easily. Everything I wore was white. I felt that adventure awaited me and that my life from now on would be different from the ‘normal’ life I had lived for so long.

God wants to make it clear through this dream that many of His children will receive a special assignment. Many of you will have lived the same way year after year. Investing in your relationship with God will shape your character and help you get to know Jesus better and better. All the while you carry desires with you. You feel this isn’t all there is. You feel these desires you carry are not just yours; they are also God’s desires. You know He is preparing you, but you don’t see clearly the full plan. Do you recognize that?

Expect Jesus to give you a special assignment. That you will suddenly gain momentum, where things will come together, possibilities will suddenly arise, doors will open. God will surround you with the right people, the right circumstances. You don’t have to do much yourself, just follow the leading of the Holy Spirit step by step. It will suit you and your (family) situation, and you will see these long carried desires come true. Adventure awaits! Be expectant; He has a Heavenly assignment for you!
